Yo Gabba Gabba

Posted by meghanbreeze on January 29, 2009

This is just a little glimpse of how Yo Gabba Gabba affects Torah, this is a little bit more mild than how she normally is. Anytime I get the camera out, she seems to tone it down some. If anything the grandparents will be happy to see another video :)

What Have We Been Up To??

Posted by meghanbreeze on January 28, 2009

We have been doing a lot lately! The weather has been gorgeous so we’ve been spending lots of time outside. Just a few days ago, we headed over to La Centerra to walk around for awhile. Well, the fountains were on and Torah was very intrigued :)

We had to strip her down to her diaper to put her in the car seat! She was drenched, when we took her shoes off, water poured out of them! She had a blast and it was hilarious to watch her :)

I think I’ve blogged about Torah’s obsession with Yo Gabba Gabba, if not let’s just say she is mildly obsessed! She got two new plush Yo Gabba Gabba toys about a week ago and will not put them down. When we went for a Sunday walk, she had to make sure they came with.

She was having a good time on our walk, cracking herself up

Yep, she wouldn’t even put them down to pick up the ball :)

Torah loves to eat her snacks on the couch now. She looks like such a big girl here!

We’ve been doing a lot of coloring and having fun with stickers. Yesterday we made note cards with some stickers and crayons. Torah has a tendency to eat some of the crayons, especially the pink one! Who knows maybe it has the best flavor??

We’ve been trying to keep busy this week b/c Jacob is in the Dominican Republic. First time he has left us since we moved to Texas. Just a little different to be in a new house, new town and have a 17 month old to handle all on my own! Things are going good though, I’m not too exhausted just yet :) Just keep Jacob and Chris Denbow in your prayers this week… for a safe trip and a great experience.

Christmas and Illinois Visit

Posted by meghanbreeze on January 14, 2009

We ended up going back to Illinois to visit the day after Christmas and it was SO good to see family and friends. It was nice to have our own Christmas here in Texas and then be with family the day after. Instead of rushing around from family to family on Christmas, we were able to just relax and do our own thing. We had lunch with a great family in Texas and just relaxed with them the rest of the evening. Our flight went well to Chicago and then we met both sides of the family at Avanti’s for a great dinner. Then we were off to my parents for about 3 or 4 days and then headed to Champaign for the rest of the trip. Like I said, it was a GREAT trip, but we were ready to get back home and to WARM weather :) Here are some photos to sum up the trip.

Christmas in Texas

She likes to put clothes and scarves around her neck and walk around :) Total girl, LOVES clothes and accessories!

ball-pit-2

We got Torah a ball pit for Christmas and she really enjoys playing in it

torah-and-bryce2

Playing with Bryce at Old Mamaw and Poppy’s house. Old Mamaw made fried chicken, gravy and mashed potatoes for us and it was wonderful. I was begging her to make it before we moved, but things were to hectic. So, I finally got it this trip back, SO worth the wait!

cutie-pie

Just a cute picture

torah-3

Was trying to get a picture of her cute outfit, however to get a 17 month old to stand still… not so easy!

Playing with her magnets and being her goofy self

torah-and-amos

Reunited with Amos! She loved running around with Malachi and Amos. As we pulled up to the drive she got really excited and started saying, “Woof, Woof”

dancy-dance-1

The picture is blurry because she is dancing, which she absolutely LOVES to do! Her favorite song to dance to is “Put a Ring on it” by Beyonce. No joke she hears it and gets down from the couch and begins doing “her” dance. Believe, anyone who as witnessed this can attest, it is HILARIOUS! I’ll have to get video soon.

Would not take of Aunt Caitie’s beads

candice-and-meghan

We got to hang out with Robbie and Candice while in Champaign!! It was so great to see them, especially because Candice is PREGNANT!!!!! I’m so excited for them, but sad b/c I’m not here during her pregnancy :( But you can bet I will be in Illinois when she has baby Osenga :)

new-years-eve

We also got to spend time with the Parkers! We went out for New Year’s Eve and it was great, plus both children were with babysitters, even better!! Torah got to spend some time with little Ezra, however I didn’t a picture, regretting that one now. He is such a cutie :)

mamaw-and-torah

A cute one of Mamaw and Torah
