Many people have been commenting on my necklace I’ve been wearing lately. For Mother’s Day Jacob got me a necklace with Torah’s name on it. I LOVE it!!! I may have been hinting to him for the past 6 months, I guess it worked!!! I absolutely love all the jewelry that Lisa Leonard makes. I somehow found her blog and am totally addicted to both the blog and her jewelry. I figured I would just post the websites that way everybody knows where to go. Just a few pictures from today. We went to church, had lunch with the Parker family, hung out with Brandon Hoff at Starbuck’s and then just hung out the rest of the day at home. It was a wonderful, relaxing day

Showing off her dress. I just realized today that since at least May, Torah has worn a dress to church every Sunday! She just looks so darn cute in them, plus I’m taking advantage of her not caring what she wears. Who knows this time next year, she may be a little more opinionated

 

So, I took a little hiatus…

I cannot believe how long it has been since I’ve last blogged! Time is seriously flying by, way too fast! So many things have happened. Torah is now 10 months old, that’s right 10 months. She loves being outside, every morning when she wakes up she points straight to her window. She loves looking at the trees and the flowers. And then in the evening we go out back and look at the hanging plant and trees, she pulls a leaf down EVERY night and plays with and tries to eat it, and then usually Amos takes it away from her. It is just so crazy to me all the stuff she remembers!  Whenever we go to my parents house, she goes straight to my dad and then points to the door. They go outside and look at the water fountain, the fake owl,  and then off to see Harley (my parents dog), and this is every time, she remembers each time. She’ll go to the fountain and then point to the owls and so on and so on. It just cracks me up! 

Let’s see what else has been going on… well Torah was sick all last week. She had a viral infection and was on steroids for 3 days. That infection really took a toll on her. We spent 3 nights in the recliner because she couldn’t breathe lying down, also I couldn’t stand seeing her so miserable. She had a really bad cough, runny nose, fever and her chest sounded like crackling paper. Not fun at all. It took her about a week to get over everything and then I came down with the same thing. The past week was a little hectic and I had my stressed out moments, but we got through it. I just hated seeing her so miserable and feeling like there was nothing I could do to help. She was a trooper though and thankfully now is back on her sleeping schedule
