Sunday Lunch

Torah spent Saturday night at Mamaw and Grandpa’s house and had a great time. We missed her like crazy Saturday, but at the same time had a wonderful time at the Osenga’s house. So much fun that we did not get home until 3am and proceeded to sleep in until noon! I know, were a little crazy We snapped a few pictures during lunch today when we went to pick her up. It was SO beautiful outside today, we decided to all eat on the deck. So, we just pulled the highchair outside and Torah was able to sit under the umbrella and eat with all of us. It was so much fun, not to mention the food was great. We can’t ever complain about my dads grilling Torah was able to spend time with both great grandma Foster and Old Mamaw this weekend as well. Which reminds me, I need to be better about taking pictures when were with other people! 

On a side note, I begin a new job on Tuesday. I am going to be working at my parents church as the secretary 4 days a week. It works out perfect b/c I can take Torah along with me a few days during the week, so no need for daycare! And to share a little more great news, Jacob got a job at Country Companies and will begin in a few weeks. We are very excited for the new things happening, but at the same time a little nervous with all the change. We’ll be on one schedule for about 3 weeks and then Jacob will be on summer break from school and then begin at Country. When he begins at Country, the schedule will change once again. So, new entries on the blog may slow down with all the changes going on in the Breeze household. Just wanted to share the good news! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Spring Is Here!!

We’ve been taking advantage of the wonderful weather these past few days. Today we played out in the yard. It was Torah’s first time in the grass and she LOVED it! Here are some pictures from the afternoon.

Quick Update

So, I can understand now why Torah was in so much pain and not herself these past 3 weeks. I thought she was getting 2 teeth, but today I noticed that she was getting 3 teeth at once! Poor thing. She now has 5 teeth and I think she is working on another one! So, now she has her 2 bottom teeth, her top 2 eye teeth and her top right middle tooth and is working on her top left middle tooth. She is gonna have a mouthful of teeth before we know it. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We took advantage and were out in the stroller a ton:)

It’s not a lie, I am thanking God for Torah’s teeth finally to pop through! The past 3 weeks have been exhausting for both Torah and Jacob and myself. She has not been sleeping very well throughout the day and the evening, which in turn throws me completely off schedule. I just felt so bad for her b/c there really wasn’t much I could do. We had the tablets, orajel, tylenol, cold washcloth and anything else we could think of! Well yesterday morning after a crazy night, I was cleaning Torah’s gums and felt 2 new teeth. Her two top eye teeth finally popped through! YEAH!!!!!! I have literally been praying for those things to pop through for the past few weeks. I can tell she is already feeling much better. So, now she has 4 teeth! Her bottom 2 and then her top eye teeth, she looks pretty cute:) Although, now that she has teeth, she just seems so much older. I’m not for sure how I feel about that:(Time has just flown by, I still can’t believe she is 7 months already. She is changing so much and learning things everyday! Just yesterday she started clapping her hands and I think I got a little choked up when she did. We always sing “If you’re happy and you know it” to her and she just loves it, so now she claps along with us. It’s so cute:) Lets see what else has she been up to? Well, I’m pretty sure she’ll be crawling pretty soon! She really pulls her tummy up off the floor when she is laying down. She is also rolling around like crazy, she rolls to get everything now! She is also scooting backwards while laying down. So, I’m pretty sure she’ll be mobile pretty soon! She loves to eat those little graduate puffs. So cute to see her using her little hands to pick the food up! She is jabbering like crazy too. She says da da all the time, has not yet said ma ma. But, I figured that would happen! She also loves to pet Amos and play with his collar. So cute! I’m telling you everyday is something new and I LOVE it!     

Playdate

Last week Torah and I headed over to Ashleigh and Arrington’s house for a little play date and get together. Katie, Ellie, Lincoln, Steph and their friend Kelsey were all there too! It was so great to see everyone! Hopefully once school is over we’ll be able to get together more often:) Here are a few pictures that I snapped. I only took 3 pictures the entire time! I guess that’s what happens when you’re too busy talking and catching up!
