Nursery and Photo Shoot

It seems like every week there is SO much going on! Torah is just changing and learning something new everyday. It’s amazing! This Thursday she will be 5 months old already! I just can’t believe it. 5 months have just flown by. I have to admit, I really enjoy the stage she is at right now. You can really see her personality, see emotions on her face, can tell she is just taking everything in and learning new things ALL the time! It is just so amazing. Jacob and I were just talking on Sunday that we couldn’t imagine life w/out Torah anymore. She has completely changed our lives and made it so much more interesting. We are just so in love w/ her

This past Sunday we took her to the nursery for the first time and she loved it! As we were walking through church, she just kept smiling and perking up at all the people. We had to fill out some information since she had not been before and then we passed her over and she didn’t cry at all. Yeah!!! I will say that Jacob was way more paranoid than what I thought he would be! We haven’t left her w/ people we didn’t know before, so that part was awkward, but she did great. I just love that she is able to be around other kids her age. I think that will be so good for her. Plus she is jabbering like crazy these days and there is no way we could sit through church w/ her. We were really proud of her for being so good and happy while she was there.

Oh, and we can’t wait for this weekend! Were throwing a shower for Joni, which is going to be great! AND Sarah Reagan and the 3 boys are coming up for the weekend. YEAH!!!!! And, yes I did say that Sarah is bringing all 3 boys up by herself, she is SUPER MOM

Bath Time

Lately when Torah gets her baths she likes to sit straight up. I’ve tried to put her on the infant side of the tub, but she doesn’t really go for that yet. She likes to grab for her feet or her rubber ducky She really loves bath time and loves to just play after were all finished.  Here are a few pictures from bath time and one after!

Lots of New Adventures for Torah

Torah has been a busy busy girl these past few weeks. This is what she’s done in the past few weeks.1. Meeting Erica and Ela Stark for the first time! 2. Eating cereal and actually liking it 3. Meeting August and Alexa Griffin ( Alexa is 2 months old and is adorable, she had the cutest little shoes on!) ( sorry no picture, but I will have to get one next time we get together) 4. Using her Exersaucer 5. Blowing raspberries, which is hilarious, especially when she has her pacifier in her mouth. I’ll post a video in a few days! 6. Had a play date w/ Layne and Luke MooreWe met Erica and Ela Stark in Decatur a few weeks ago. We have never actually met, just spoke through the blog and emails! Thanks Erica for the tip on the teething tablets, they are working great  Finally got one of both of them looking at the camera. Ela is 8 months old and Torah is 4 1/2 months old. They had a great time visiting and hopefully we’ll be able to go visit the Stark family in Missouri sometime so Torah and Ela can hang out again. We went over to see the Luke and Layne Moore a few days ago. Jacob was hanging out w/ the kids while Layne and I were in the kitchen. Luke climbed up in his lap and wanted to play with his toy. How cute is this picture! Luke and Torah love to hang out. Torah just loves to watch Luke. If you ask me, there may have been some flirting going on! What a Week!

This has been one of the most hectic weeks the Breeze household has had in awhile. Last week we had Torah’s 4 month check up and the doctor had told me to up her ounces. So, instead of 5 oz. 4 times a day, she is now getting 6 oz. 4 times a day. Well, ever since I started feeding her more, she has spit up almost her entire ounces an hour after she eats. This has happened twice in the past 3 days or so. It really freaked me out, I admit I started crying. She just opened her mouth and out it all came. Totally didn’t bother her at all, she was giggling as I carried her to her room. We checked her temp and nothing, but we did call the doctor just to be safe. He said just to keep an eye on her. So far, nothing new has happened. But,  I did go back to 5 oz. 2 times a day and 6 oz. the other times. I think she may have been getting too much food. I really don’t know, but she is doing better now. So, that entire thing, which probably isn’t that big of a thing, has stressed me out all week. On top of that, she is teething like crazy. She isn’t sleeping like she normally does and she gets fussy at times. This is new to us, b/c she has never really been fussy or had problems getting to sleep. It took me almost 2 hours to get her to sleep the other night. It just takes some adjusting, which I’m sure will be happening all the time! So, then on Wednesday I got sick. I haven’t felt like I did in forever. Luckily enough, my mom was able to come over last night and watch Torah so I could rest. Today I am feeling much better, thank goodness. And, today I took Torah to get her shots. That was not so much fun. Plus, Jacob was at work so I had to take her by myself. But, I did good and did not cry this time:) Torah did great, she cried a little, but once everything was done, she was laughing and smiling. I’m pretty sure she is gonna be one tough cookie She has been all smile this past week, despite all the craziness. She has really began reaching up for things. She is always grabbing at my arms when I’m changing her and she loves to touch my face when were playing on the bed. I just love it! She has so much personality!I do apologize if this post is scattered, blame it on the medication! Enough rambling, her are some recent pictures of Torah We are off tomorrow morning to meet Erica and Ela Stark for the first time. We know each other through our blogs, but have not officially met, how crazy! I’ll be sure to take my camera and snap a few pics. This was after a long Sunday of church and hanging out w/ the Parkers. She just fell asleep on the couch! Sitting all by herself on the love seat.
