More Christmas!

 These pictures are from Grandma (or as the great grandkids call her Old Mamaw!) and Poppy’s house.  Bryce lost his front tooth and was singing “All I want for christmas is my one front tooth!” Gotta love the kids   Cayden  Grayce (which is Bryce’s sister)  The grandkids. 4 month stats

This is gonna be a short post. I’m not feeling the best right now, but I had said earlier I would post Torah’s 4 months stats.14 lbs. 7oz (75%)25 in. long (75%) I for sure thought she was 27, shows what I know.Doc said Torah is doing great and is very healthy. I tried to feed her some cereal this afternoon, but she didn’t seem too interested, partly b/c I don’t think she was quite hungry yet. We’re gonna give it another try tomorrow morning. I am off to relax while Torah naps:) 

Christmas Extravaganza and 4 months old!

Well, all the Christmas craziness has came to an end. It feels so good to just sit and relax! We hit 4 different Christmas gatherings in 3 days, but it was all great. Torah received so many gifts, it’s crazy. Her room right now is a disaster, bags are everywhere. We go for her 4 month check up tomorrow, so I’m hoping she’ll be pretty sleepy and I can get everything put away then.  Can you believe it, Torah is 4 months old! Time is seriously flying by!!! I’ll post the stats tomorrow when we get back, but I am pretty sure she should be around 27 in. long. We’ll see though. Back the Christmas extravaganza. Torah absolutely loved being around all of the family. She just loves being around people! She totally loves the attention and just hams it up in front of everyone. All of her little cousins at my grandma Smiths just love her. Cousin Cayden came up to her when we first got there and said, “Torah, Torah, we got you clothes!” It was sooooo cute! Especially since he had opened Torah’s gift at his house earlier and they had forgot to bring the gift! It was so cute. Cayden really seemed to like Torah, they would just stare at one another and smile. I’ll have to post some pictures when I get them from mom. Anyway, Christmas was great and Torah loved it.  Thank you to everyone who gave Torah her wonderful gifts, we love them! And now on to the good stuff, pictures! New things happening this week

It’s been a busy week for our little Torah! I am not kidding when I say she learns something new each day. It just blows my mind sometimes. This past week she has rolled over from her back to her stomach, jabbering like crazy and she sat up today for just a second by herself. Luckily Jacob was able to snap a quick picture.     I just want to inform everyone that the next video is quite hilarious, mainly b/c of Jacob. I think he forgot that the video had sound. Let’s just say he his opening Torah to lots of types of music. This one being the Newsies soundtrack, along w/ him singing. I’ll just let you listen.

Adventures in the new highchair

So, I was waiting for Jacob’s gift to come from UPS on Friday. All day I was waiting, trying to get the gift before he did. Well the UPS truck finally came and he not only delivered Jacob’s gift but a box from Chicco (that is the brand of travel system and play yard we have) Love everything we have, highly recommend the brand! We were totally shocked, excited  and surprised. I kept asking Jacob if he had done this, but he insisted he did not. You see, I’ve been talking for about 3 weeks now how nice it would be to have the highchair, that way Torah could be in the kitchen with my while I could and she could sit with us while we eat, instead of in the bouncy seat on the table. Our cabinets are not high enough to sit her on the counter, so cooking was always a problem, especially at night when Jacob was gone. Anyways, I was saying that I was just going to use my Christmas money to buy it (welcome to motherhood, money you get is now spent on Torah, instead of myself or Jacob). Long story short, my mom and dad had bought the highchair for us! So, a BIG thank you to Mamaw and Grandpa:) Torah loves it, as do I. Plus, it folds up so easily and so thin, it’s GREAT. Here are a few pictures of Torah enjoying her new highchair.  1st day in highchair. We don’t quite have the straps adjusted quite yet, but it still works for now! Torah helping me cook yesterday. It was great! I just wheeled her in the kitchen, the highchair is on 4 wheels, so I can just wheel her wherever I am! Can you tell that I LOVE this highchair    We had the Austin and Joni (and Mini) Parker and Nate and Ruthie Ross over for dinner last night and this is what happened during dinner! How funny is this I knew she was getting sleeping b/c she started resting her pacifier on the tray so she didn’t have to hold it. And next thing I knew, she was asleep. I wish I would have video taped this, b/c all of us beginning laughing pretty loud and she just shot right up and had the greatest expression! Maybe next time I’ll get it on video! 

Another Snow Day, Another Hat

Can you believe all of the snow that is on the ground! I couldn’t believe it! It just kept coming down all day on Saturday. It was and still is beautiful. Saturday night after Torah went down for the evening Jacob and I decided to go outside and watch the snow. It was so pretty! Then I decided to to take the pups out to play. They loved it! We woke up for church (Torah and I) b/c Jacob had left about 30 min. before b/c he was going to play in the band. But he called and said he was on his way home b/c the highway was not clear at all. So, we all went back to bed for awhile and then just had a lazy Sunday. It was GREAT! We also took Torah out to take some pictures in the snow. She just looks too darn cute in her little jacket and hat!
