I can’t believe that 2 months have already went by! Torah is growing so fast, which I’m not sure I like. Luckily, I have had the pleasure of spending everyday so far with her. I haven’t went back to work yet. Crazy stuff went down w/ my former employer before I had Torah. I was supposed to have my old job back, but with a different company after my maternity leave. Well, that so much didn’t happen, which I just found out this past week. Not so good news, but not horrible. I’m in the process of looking for something that is part time, that way Jacob can watch her in the morning. He goes into work at 2:45 Tues-Sat, so I could work in the morning and we wouldn’t have to pay for a sitter. B/c it really wouldn’t pay to work if we had to pay a babysitter. So, right now I’m looking for something part time and that is local. Hopefully, something will turn up sometime soon. I hate the idea of not being w/ Torah, but I feel so much better that she’ll be with Jacob instead of someone I don’t know. Plus, it will be good for them to spend that time together since he is gone during the evening.
Enough of that crazy stuff, onto more fun things. Torah is making me laugh everyday more and more. She finally slept through the night on Sunday, which was amazing. I woke up at 7:30 and freaked out a little. I just started counting in my head the hours and realized she hadn’t woken up throughout the night. I’m just so used to getting up in the middle of the night, it freaked me out at first. I’m attempting to put her on a schedule since she is becoming more and more consistent with eating and sleeping. She has been sleeping a lot throughout the day though. I try and have her on her stomach most of the day, but when she is on her tummy she loves to sleep. So, I’m kind of confused. I read that she should spend most of the day on her tummy, but then she ends up sleeping most the day. She has also found her tongue and her hands/fingers. She has been sucking on her hand and trying to get her thumb in her mouth. She has also been trying to chew on her pacifier. Also a little more fussy, which she normally isn’t. So, my mom thinks that she may be teething already! I’m not for sure, I felt her gums today, but I have no idea what to feel for. So, mom is going to have to check. I did have 2 teeth at 2 months, so I guess it is possible. I’ll keep you posted on that.
Torah had her first wiener roast on Sunday night at Mamaw and Grandpa’s house. She slept the entire time, but I’m pretty sure she had a good time.
Some news not concerning Torah, but is exciting. My cousin Elise got engaged last weekend. So, congratulations to her and Eric and Cayden
They are planning a September wedding next year. 2 weddings next year, one in May and one in September. And funny thing is they are sisters!
This is Torah at the wiener roast. Looks like she is enjoying herself!

Jacob was playing Sting for Torah. We like to think she will play guitar or the piano. If so, all those traits she will get from Jacob b/c I am not musically talented at all

This was taken today after her bath. She stuck her little butt up in the air while she was sleeping!
